Megan is a senior journalism major in UNC-Chapel Hill's School of Journalism and Mass Communication. She is studying the news-editorial sequence in the school.

Megan has been working on the copy desk of UNC's student newspaper, The Daily Tar Heel, since fall 2006. This semester she was co-editor of the copy desk. In the summer of 2007, Megan had an internship on the copy/design desk of The Asheville Citizen-Times.

After graduation in May 2008, Megan plans to get another internship in copy editing and then find a job as a copy editor. She is also thinking about going back to school after a few years in the work force -- possibly to law school.
